On your wedding day you will want to be elegant and comfortable because you'll be on your feet a lot and perhaps walking to and from places, dancing, getting photos taken, and the last thing you need are blisters on your toes. The main bridal shoe designs are not very comfortable and the heels are often hard to walk in. However, there are many comfy and elegant wedge shoes that have high heels and yet with padding or cork or plastic wedges, they are much more comfy. Here are a few ideas:

Wedding shoes need not be satin. In fact a great pair of bridal shoes may be a white croc faux leather with rhinestones or a pair of designer wedge shoes in s alight color but not white. Womens wedge shoes that are designed for bridal use are often too ornate for a simple dress, and so even if the price is right the décor or the shoes may not be.
Gold wedge shoes and silver sandals are often too much, but a pair of champagne colored cork items or even a pair of natural hemp espadrilles may be great for less formal wedding. Pink examples could be a funky alternative if the wedding is youthful and filled with color, or a pair of blue wedge shoes could be your something BLUE.
