Denver Magazine, one of the two major city magazines in Denver, Co. I've been working for them a lot lately but had yet to make the cover...Until now. One of the images from the take is the May 2009 cover of the magazine. One of the hardest things for me since going freelance after leaving the newspaper has been the lack of immediate gratification that was so prevalant in the newspaper business. You'd take a nice image one day and the next it would be plastered across the front page of the paper for everyone to see. Nowadays I may shoot something and never see it in print because it's for a publication halfway around the world or for some company's use internally. At any rate it's still a bit of a rush to see your work in print, on the cover or not.
